I came across these pictures the other day. I was reminded that children are constantly going through phases, usually messy phases of one sort. Paige would not do this today. She’s out of this phase. She’s a little more grown up.
But it reminded me of how frustrated I was. Seemed like every time I turned around, there was always another huge mess to clean up.
A few months ago Paige was bored. While Cope was at school, her dear baby sister rummaged through her drawer until she found just the right entertainment: Cope’s newly-purchased bright pink fuschia lipstick that she’d just bought with her babysitting money.
and the silence echoing, “I did.”
